gr0x0rd systems incorporated is a small, family-run technology company operating out of Southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
We provide a wide variety of technical services on a contract basis to clients including government, enterprise, small businesses and individuals.
Previous and existing projects have provided us with experience in the education, regulatory, health care, defense, entrepreneurial and information technology sectors.
Incorporated in 2010, gr0x0rd systems has been providing technical services to clients in Western Canada since 2001. Though you can probably tell from this website, we prefer function over fashion when providing solutions.

Our vision is to empower all of our clients with organic, sustainable technical solutions that will improve not only their technical infrastructure but also their bottom line.
While we are advocates of free software and open-source solutions, notably Gentoo Linux, we are also happy to provide solutions at the other end of the technical spectrum. However, we must regrettably inform existing and prospective clients that we do not provide nor do we plan to support solutions for Apple or MacIntosh products or software, including the iPhone.

Business Continuity Plans
The majority of organizations do not possess, and perhaps have never even heard of, a Business Continuity Plan (BCP). A BCP is a living document which contains a detailed visual map of your technical architecture, contact information for the key internal and external agents needed to maintain your infrastructure, details and schedules regarding backup and recovery processes, and a comprehensive disaster recovery plan that protects your business from a multitude of likely or unlikely threats. BCP's are critical to any organization's long-term success.
Infrastructure Development and Support

Datacenter Design and Maintenance
If you have an existing data center or are looking to design your own infrastructure in-house, we would love to help you get you where you need to be. Co-ordinating ventilation, air conditioning, power generation, rack design and startup/shutdown procedures are all part of the services we provide. One of our specialties is automating system shutdown procedure if your datacenter ever reaches the critical point of battery backup expenditure using open-source software. Is your data center currently a war-zone or disaster? Clean-up and re-organization services are also available.
Physical Network Installation
With years of experience installing low-voltage cabling and the tools and wherewithal to do the job right, we are fully equipped to install a wired network at your office, home or workplace. Services include node termination and labeling, patch panel assembly, testing and full documentation. This service also includes configuration, testing and support of debit/credit card terminals for point of sale purchases.
Wireless Network Installation
We are happy to provide installation, industry-standard security configuration and testing for any individual or organization requiring wireless networking services. Such services can be associated or independent of any on-site physically installed networks, as may be necessary and sufficient for businesses providing wi-fi as a service to customers.
Software Development
Be it desktop applications, web applications, database applications or dynamic link libraries, we are able to customize and intergrate your application with any database system, be it for open-source solutions such as Linux or proprietary platforms such as Microsoft Windows. Graphic design and high-level interface and human interaction design are available through recommended subcontractors.

Having worked in the PC repair industry since 1996, our technicians are fully capable of breathing new life into old machines, performing hardware upgrades, and isolating and repairing or replacing failed components.
